HISTORY of ANTARCTICA
In 1773 a man by the name of James Cook along with his crew had found Antarctica but they only found the antarctic circle they didn't catch a glimpse of the antarctic. James Cook had wrote a diary about if anyone explored further that he did explaining there would be no point because the world would have no benefit from it. On the 4th January, 2016 a guy by the name of Henry Worsley died after trying to cross Antarctica from organ failure. In 1959 12 countries signed a treaty staying that there is peaceful place for all continents for scientific investigation. Today it is easier to go to Antarctica but there is only a little amount in that can go at a time.
